This one comes with a story. I have been following the pastry chef Kriss Harvey on Instagram for a while, and I am a huge fan of his work. While we were here, I saw him in the back and my dad (who I will never stop thanking for doing this) waves at him and he comes over to us. Surprisingly, he was extremely friendly and gave us a personal tour of his kitchen! In the top left is a liquid nitrogen frozen creme on top of chopped mango within a passion fruit and coffee puree. In the bottom right is a macaroon filled with raspberries, a vanilla creme, and a blueberry jelly. All of his desserts are elegantly displayed so customers know exactly what they are ordering. In the three days we had spent in LA, I was most crazy about this unforgettable experience.
